Vision XLV Nymph 4/5 Fly Reel

The XL series by Vision has a long tradition - just think about the different generations of XLA and XLB reels. For the upcoming season the guys from Finland have worked their butts off to add a new member to the family: the XLV. These very modern looking reels have a proper disc brake package, a real large-arbour design and an EVA handle which provides a solid grip even in wet conditions. All moving parts are greased with SKF's water resistant bearing grease. XLV Nymph reels come with a modern black finish and green highlights - perfectly matching the Vision Nymphmaniac fly rods. Due to their closed frame it's impossible that thin leaders slip through. A big advantage when fishing with long Euro Nymphing leaders! The reel's weight is exactly calculated to balance longer nymph rods with a length of 10ft to 11ft. At the same time you can use this reel on any regular 4-weight or 5-weight rod with 9ft. as well.
